The Power of a hug
This is a picture from an article called "The Rescuing Hug". The article details the first week of life of a set of twins, Apparently, each were in their respective incubators, and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby's heart rate stabilised and her temperature rose to normal.
Let us not forget to embrace those whom we love.
You have just been hugged!
That's right, there's no getting out of it this time!
Hug your friends, your enemies, everyone!
The hug is my favourite sign of affection.
It can mean so much, and many things at the same time.
It can be a sign of love, friendship, peace, comfort and caring.
It can create a powerful bond from one human being to another, and of course, it is very healing!
